Hyderabad is the small black dot in the southern third of the sub-continent of India

Puttapaka is found to the right of Hyderabad. It is about an hour and a half drive from there. Chirala is at the small circle near the coast nearly 300 kilometres from Hyderabad. Telia Rumal originated in Chirala. Weavers then went to teach the technique to a weaving village in Nalgonda District called Ponchampally.
